The rhythm of the earth
Long before we had alarm clocks or screens to light up the night, we lived by the rhythm of the sun.
Dawn awakened life. Birds began to sing, light colored the horizon, and our bodies began to move naturally.
Towards evening, when the light slowly faded, it became quiet.
Nature turned inward, and so did we.
That ancient pattern still lives within us — the circadian rhythm .
A natural clock that does not tick in hours, but in waves of light, dark, energy and rest.
A clock in every cell
Every cell in our body contains a small piece of this clock.
Together they form a rhythm that determines when we wake up, eat, move and sleep.
When the sun rises, our body reacts instinctively: breathing deepens, heart rate increases, energy rises.
In the evening, when it gets dark, that process is reversed.
The temperature drops, the muscles relax, and a natural urge to rest arises.
Without us noticing it, our bodies still move with the rotation of the Earth.
A rhythm older than man
This rhythm is not ours — it is nature's own.
Plants open their leaves at sunrise and close them at sunset.
Animals rest, hunt or migrate according to this same pattern.
We humans once emerged from that same system, attuned to the alternation of light and dark.
It's only recently that we've lost that rhythm a little — with our artificial days, screens, and always-on culture.
But deep inside our body still knows exactly when it is day and when it is time to fall silent.
Living in harmony
Anyone who allows that natural rhythm to return will notice how quickly the body recovers.
Sleep deepens, breathing becomes calmer, thoughts get space.
It's like you're moving again with something that has always been part of you — a silent collaboration between man and nature.
Our circadian rhythm is not a rule, not a method, but a reminder of how we are meant to live:
in connection with the earth, the light and the peace of the night.
📖 In the e-book you can read how to return to this natural rhythm step by step, and how to realign your sleep and recovery with the earth itself.
